Lab Results & Certificates of Analysis
Every batch of every 4 Leaf Herbals product is third-party tested at an ISO 17025-accredited laboratory. COAs document alkaloid content, heavy metals, and microbial panels — all published openly.
Why We Publish Every COA
The kratom industry has a long history of vendors claiming "lab tested" without producing the lab report. We publish the actual Certificate of Analysis for every batch of every product we sell, not summary cards. If you can identify the batch number on the bottle, you can pull the matching COA from this page and verify the alkaloid content, contaminant panel results, and the lab that ran the test.
What's Tested on Every Batch
Mitragynine and 7-hydroxymitragynine content, reported as a percentage and as an absolute milligram per gram of finished product. Heavy metals: lead, arsenic, cadmium, and mercury, against AHPA-recommended thresholds. Microbial contamination: total aerobic plate count, yeast and mold, E. coli, Salmonella. Each panel must pass before product release.
How to Read a COA
If you have never read a kratom Certificate of Analysis before, our Kratom Journal article 'How to Read a Kratom COA' walks through every field — what to verify, what to ignore, and the common ways a sketchy vendor can produce a real-looking but meaningless document. It's worth ten minutes before you buy from any kratom brand, including us.
